The RennTech R1 Performance Package is the perfect entry level performance upgrade for the SL 550. The addition of the upgraded Stainless Steel Shorty Headers helps the engine and Provide better high boost pressure. A surplus of boost will be released to the atmosphere and the turbocharger can be supplied with air quicker after the shifting process.
The R1 performance package for the Mercedes 550 includes our proprietary ECU upgrade in addition to our stainless steel shorty headers designed specifically for the 550 V8 for a combination that provides increased performance, sound and throttle response across the vehicles entire powerband.
